The Transition- Flatheads literally go through a transition like night and day. Once you understand how this works it will simplify the way you hunt flatheads. Many people repeat the same mistakes over and over again when targeting flatheads, such as fishing deep holes and bends at night with no bites. TEN THINGS NOT TOO DO WHILE FLATHEAD FISHING #1 Radio off- Many times while fishing flathead tournaments we pass boats blaring their radio while flathead fishing.  This is always a no no. Flatheads are apex predators and use all their heightened senses including sound to detect prey and danger. #2 Heavy Feet- Often times when Flathead fishing I bring clients who have very heavy feet. When they walk they tend to stomp or clank their feet really hard. This sends huge vibration’s through the
